Built in 1926, this John Deere model D is owned by Don Slama, proprietor of Hillsboro Equipment located in Hillsboro, WI.
Attending to Don Slama’s “D”, we find “Sugar”. Sugar was the nickname of a mechanic for Hillsboro Implement, the dealership that sold this tractor new and is today called Hillsboro Equipment.

This 1929 Ford Model A pickup was formerly used by the Colorado Implement Co., dealers of John Deere equipment. It belongs to Rusty Sutcliffe, of Arlington, WI.

The lineup of John Deere corn shellers seen here is owned and restored by Terry Dorshorst, of Poynette, WI.

This 1937 John Deere model A is owned by Dennis and Diane Krueger, of Berlin, WI. Check out that umbrella, while not as comfortable as the air conditioned cabs on the new tractors, it provided a little welcome shade from the hot summer sun.

Three generations of the Hasheider family are seen here with this 1937 John Deere model A. On the tractor, from left to right, we see Karli, Kimay, Kolton and Tye Hasheider (owner). In front are Crystal and Paul Hasheider.

Ed Tomasovich, of Ladysmith, WI, is shown here with his 1937 John Deere model B. It looks like Ed is ready to do a little cultivating, but if the corn is so small that you need the shields in August, he should spend the money on beer instead of gas!

Dan Schwartzel, of Sparta, WI is the owner of this unique John Deere model BN, built in 1937. The BN was a special narrow version of the model B and this one sports a single front wheel.

This John Deere model G was built in 1937 and is owned by Wilbur Schwartzel, of Sparta, WI.
